Waitlist 101

Curious how class waitlists work? We’ve got you.

If a class is full, you can join the waitlist by reserving a waitlist spot through the Cut + Flow Studio app or online. Once you’re on the waitlist, you can view your position and track updates by selecting the reservation in your account.

Getting off the waitlist

If a spot opens 2 hours or more before class, our system will automatically add clients from the waitlist into class. You’ll receive a confirmation email, and if you’re subscribed to text notifications, you’ll also get a text letting you know you’re officially in.

Once you’re added to class, all standard late cancellation and no-show policies apply.

Last-minute openings (within 2 hours of class)

If a spot opens within 2 hours of the class start time, you won’t be automatically added to class. Instead, our system will send a text message to everyone on the waitlist with a link to claim the spot, or a member of our team may reach out from the studio phone to see if you’re available.

Within 2 hours of class, spots are filled on a first come, first served basis. The first person to complete the booking through the link (or confirm availability if contacted by our team) gets the spot. If the spot is claimed before you click or reply, you’ll remain on the waitlist and be notified again if another opening becomes available.

A few important notes

  • Being on the waitlist does not guarantee a spot in class

  • Waitlist texts are automated and cannot be customized

  • The booking link opens in your browser (not the app) and may require you to log in

  • The same credit or membership used to join the waitlist will be applied

  • If you’re added to more than one class from multiple waitlists, standard late cancellation and no-show policies apply

Tips & tricks

  • Reserve classes as far in advance as possible

  • Check your waitlist status the night before class

  • If you can’t make a waitlisted class, you can remove yourself at any time, no penalty

  • Check the schedule day-of for last-minute openings, you might snag the perfect spot
