March 5 - 8, 2026 • LIMITED TO SIXTEEN SPOTS

XFormer: Slow Resistance Training
Who is This Training For?
Fitness enthusiasts passionate about the XFormer and Slow Resistance Training (SRT) method.
Those eager to refine their form, master SRT, and deepen their fitness knowledge.
Aspiring or current fitness pros ready to learn from SRT Master Trainer Mackenzie Banta, who’s completed and lead several SRT trainings, is 200-Hour YTT certified, and completed Lagree and other group fitness certifications.
Instructors from barre, Pilates, yoga, or similar modalities looking to expand their expertise.
Anyone excited to explore the science of slow resistance training for personal or professional growth.
Individuals interested in using this certification as a pathway to audition and coach at SRT studios, including potential opportunities at Cut + Flow.
How to Become an XFormer Instructor
1. Get Certified - Join us for our 20-hour SRT Certification, where you’ll learn all about Slow Resistance Training and how to lead killer classes using this effective and exciting modality.* *Note: Getting certified doesn’t guarantee employment at Cut + Flow Studio. But it’s a step in the right direction!
2. Audition - Once you're certified, take your new skills and audition for Cut + Flow Studio’s XFormer Instructor-in-Training Program. The studio is your stage!
What makes our SRT Certification different?
This training focuses on the methodology behind Slow Resistance, not just learning movements on a machine. You’ll spend the majority of your time developing true coaching skills, cueing, progressions, sequencing, and how to guide bodies safely through tension and tempo.
With only sixteen participants, every trainee receives individual attention, hands-on practice teaching, and direct feedback, something that simply isn’t possible in larger trainings or one-day workshops.
This is a full immersion into teaching the method, not just experiencing it.
