FAQ

  • How do I schedule a class?

You can book classes and manage your account all through MindBody. Click here to create your account.

What time should I arrive for class?

If it’s your first class at Cut + Flow, please arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can get you properly set up for class. If you cannot make it 10 minutes early for your first XFormer class, we may ask you to reschedule so we can properly set you up for success.

Otherwise, please arrive at least 5 minutes before class to get physically and mentally ready for class.

Where can I park when I come for class?

Beardslee Crossing has plenty of free parking from 90 minutes to 3 hours with two parking garages, with one located directly off of Beardslee Blvd (accessible when driving south), and the other on the upper level of the retail center.

What is your late policy? How do cancellations work?

We’d like for you to arrive 5 minutes before class to settle in. If you’re more than 5 minutes late to the start of class, your spot will be given to the next person on the waitlist.

We have a 12 hour cancellation policy. You can cancel your class online or on the mobile app up to 12 hours before the start of class with no penalty. Cancellations within the 12 hour window will be subject to a late cancellation fee. You can find more details about our cancellation policy here.

  • Are the XFormer classes like Pilates?

While there are some similarities, this workout is very different. We utilize the Slow Resistance Training method on the XFormer to provide a total body conditioning workout. This workout enhances the benefits of weight training and core strength using controlled spring tension.

Are grip socks required for XFormer classes?

Yes, grip socks are required for all XFormer classes for safety reasons. All introductory special offers come with a FREE pair.

Can I join a group class even if I have never done an XFormer class before?

Yes. Group classes will have people at all levels of fitness and each person will be challenged within their own abilities. Our expert instructors will help you to modify or adjust any exercise to meet your unique needs.

How often should I take class?

We recommend strength training with the XFormer 3-4 times per week for optimal results. In general, we recommend taking 24 hours between strength workouts. The workout is designed to achieve muscular failure, so you’ll need time to properly recover. We recommend taking yoga classes between your strength classes. Perfect balance!

Can I do XFormer or yoga classes if I have had past injuries?

As long as you have been cleared to exercise by a physician, then yes! Both strength training and yoga are proven ways to increase your strength, stability, and flexibility which speed up the recovery process and lessen the impact past injuries have on our daily lives.

I am new to strength training. Are there modifications I can make during the class?

Definitely. There are several different ways we can modify any exercise on the XFormer from decreasing the resistance level, changing the range of motion, and adjusting the position on the XFormer.

  • What style of yoga is taught at Cut + Flow?

We have multiple styles of yoga classes including Vinyasa, Hatha, Slow Flow, Sculpt, Core + Flow, Flow + Roll, and Yin.

    Are the classes heated?

Vinyasa, Hatha, Sculpt, and Core + Flow classes are all heated to about 85 degrees. All other classes are kept around 75 degrees.

I have never done yoga before, can I just join in any class?

While all classes are all-levels, if it is your first time taking a yoga class we recommend you start with our Beginner Yoga class, Hatha, or a Slow Flow class. Modifications will be offered by yoga instructors to suit your body’s needs and ability level.
